This is a razor that was made by John Clarke & Son in Sheffield, England. John Clarke & Son 1892-1921: This company manufactured "Bowie type knifes amongst other kinds of cutlery and goods in other metals. They were located at Harvest Lane, Sheffield. Well, we know this razor dates back to somewhere between the above 29 year date span. That is closer than some razors. Clarke razors were every bit as well made and of as good sateel as any razor. Based on almost no hone wear this razor shows only little previous usage. It is in great condition and will make a great daily shaving companion. It has a 6/8 wide, carbon steel, hollow ground blade with lustrous mirror finish blade faces. This blade carries it's factory original, black celluloid, 3 pin scales that are in perfect condition. Included with this razor is what looks to be a generic razor box. It may not be original to this razor. It is in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition. Recently honed to provide a smooth, close and comfortable shave this razor comes guaranteed shave ready. It is ready to provide a lifetime of great shaves.
