This is a Bartmann straight razor that was made in Solingen, Germany. It is in unused defect and blemish free, flawless condition. It looks like it did the day it walked out of the factory. I can find no history of Bartmann razors, but in searching I found many, many forum members that say Bartmann razors provide as good a shave as any straight razor. Having shaved with them I agree. This razors blade size is 5/8 wide, is made of carbon steel with a hollow grind and very lustrous mirror finished and etched blade faces. The blade opens and closes snug and smooth on the pivot pin and well centered between the scales. These scales are the celluloid faux tortice shell design and are slick looking. This is a Beau Brummel straight razor that was made in Solingen, Germany by the Brummel Werks plant. This razor is in excellent superb condition. Beau Brummel razors are highly sought after as one of the top quality razors in design, manufacture, and shaving quality. History note: All three companies of dubl duck fame, Bresnick, Bresduck and Pearlduck were supply houses, (distributors) and they didn't manufacture anything. All the razors they sold were made by various razor manufacturing companies. Beau Brummel was originally marketed by them as well as others. Later on Pearlduck got to be the exclusive distributer for Beau Brummel razors. Beau Brummel razors were made by the Beau Brummel Company in Solingen Germany. The Beau Brummel Company was in business in Solingen, Germany from 1930 to 1952. This razor's blade is 5/8 wide, is made of carbon steel with a hollow grind. This is a brand new razor straight from a retailer. It is a Henry H. Boker that was recently made in Solingen, Germany. It is in absolutely beautiful pristine condition. The only thing done to this razor since leaving the factory was to be honed, since factory razors are almost never honed to shave ready, but it truly shave ready now. The blade has the old original elaborately designed Edelweiss desighn, but with a new improved addition, the original silver washed surface in the backround now includes 24 carat gold on the blade face design, the spine, tang, monkey tail and point. Beautifully done, see photos. The point is a Spanish point, which is a new addition compared to past Edelweiss models. This lustrous blade is made of high quality carbon steel, is hollow ground, is 5/8 wide and has top serrations on the tang. The scales are of the 3-pin style which gives them added stability. These scales are made of an off white celluloid material that appears as a simulated ivory coloration. The front scale has the silver Edelweiss embossed on it. This razor comes with all it's original papers and box that are in brand new, mint condition. This Boker Edelweiss razor was made in Solingen, Germany. It is in Mint flawless condition in every respect. It appears to have not been used, or used very little. This razor is the exact same Edelweiss design that was first used in 1905 and is still being made today. This razor was made recently, most likely within the past couple of years. The blade on this particular Edelweiss is made of carbon steel, is hollow ground, and is 5/8 wide. This blade has one of the few very different and highly decorative silver washed, designed blade faces. This blade is attached to it's factory original, luxurious bone scales. This is a C.V. Heljestrand straight razor that was made in Eskilstuna, Sweden. It is in flawless pristine condition. It is in unused, absolutely perfect aesthetic and physical condition in every way. This is one of today's most sought after straight razors and it carries the trademark on the reverse tang side, MK No 4. With a 5/8 wide blade that is made of carbon steel, and a hollow grind. It has superbly lustrous mirror finishes on the blade and on all the steel surfaces. This blade is set off with beautiful ivory scales that are also in pristine condition. Luxurious by nature, ivory will go very nicely with any blade, and ivory will improve the looks and value of any blade, but because of it's scarcity and higher value over most scale materials, it is only installed on the very highest quality razors. This is a Clauss straight razor that was made in Freemont, Ohio where a few other U.S. razor makers set up their factories. Clauss was an "old stand by" razor maker that was among the top razor makers. This razor shows no previous hone wear indicatying it has never been used. This is a C-Mon razor that was made in Germany and distributed by Carl Monkhouse of Ellicottville, NY. Hone wear shows it is in only lightly used condition. It is in near new, blemish and defect free flawless condition. It's blade is 5/8 wide, is made of carbon steel, with a hollow grind and lustrous mirror finished blade faces. The tang and monkey tail of this razor have the C-Mon highly polished mirror finished surfaces, in lieu of the sometimes hammered and rough, rustic surface finish.
