This is a Filarmonica, Medallon Taurino, straight razor that was made in the city of MatarĂ³, in the province of Barcelon Spain. It's condition is perfect in every way. No blemishes or defects at all. It is in the same condition as when it walked out of the factory. It is a Second Edition Filarmonica that was made between 1967 and 1979. Filarmonica razors are one of the highest quality and most sought after straight razors that were ever made. Simply put, always a great shaving razor. The blade on this razor is made of carbon steel and is one of the one inch wide fillies, and is a fantastic shaver. This blade carries blue colored celluloid scales. The tang is both top and bottom jimped for a better non-slip grip. This razor comes with its original factory box that also is in pristine condition. This razor has not been touched in any way to improve it's appearance. It has been lightly honed it to improve the factory edge that is almost never shave ready. Recently honed and (stropped for the first shave) to provide a smooth, close and comfortable shave, this razor comes to you guaranteed shave ready. They aren't making any more of these. Hard to find one in this condition.
