I restore razors in any condition whether they need a little TLC or a lot of TLC, including, blade refinishing and honing. I perform extensive and thorough cleaning, sanitizing and surface refinishing inside and outside of the handles and blades as well as replace any necessary parts, i.e., spacers, pins, collars, wedges and handle replacement.
What I usually suggest is to have the razor (s) sent to me for evaluation of restoration cost. I don't charge anything for this evaluation. I then contact the sender to discuss the condition and what might be done. I then provide a firm price, for the sender to decide if they want to have the work done, or to determine how much restoration they want done. If the sender decides they don't want to have any work done, I send the razor (s) back to the sender at no charge and with no hard feelings.
My experience is that I have restored and honed over two thousand razors, accomplishing anything that has to be done to restore or hone a razor. I have amassed an extensive array of all the necessary parts, as well as tools, equipment and machinery to perform razor restoration. I am a perfectionist and I take pride in my work.If you would like to contact me before sending the razor (s), my e-mail address is, firstname.lastname@example.org and my phone number in the Nashville, Tennessee area is, 615-826-0174. I am usually home 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. seven days a week.
