This is a dubl duck Satinedge straight razor that was made in Solingen, Germany.  Lack of hone wear shows this razor to be in defect and blemish free, flawless condition. It is very rare to find a dubl duck Satinedge in this fine condition. Usually and mostly you will find, especially dubl duck "Satinedge" razors with blemished and/or defective scales. The transparent amber coloration of the Satinedge scales have much to do wuith the blemishes that occur with Satinedge models. For whatever reason Satinedge razors were not made in as large quantities as the other duck models, i.e., the main models,  Lifetime, Wonderedge, Goldedge and Special #1 razors. They are therefore more rare and hard to come by, especially in fine condition. The blade of this razor is made of carbon steel with a hollow grind, and is 5/8 wide. The celluloid scales are in perfect condition. This razors original vinyl case is included with this razor. This razor is in perfect mechanical condition all around. Recently honed and stropped to provide a clean, close and comfortable shave this razor comes guaranteed shave ready. Not only a beauty to look at, but a sweet shaving razor. They don't make these any more. You will look a long time to find a Satinedge in this great condition.
