This Kropp straight razor that was made in Sheffield, England.  Showing almost no (if any) previous hone wear this razor appears to be in unused condition. It has no defects or blemishes of any kind. The Kropp Manufacturing Company was a London firm that made razors for the world market. Some of their razors were made and ground in Sheffield, some were made in Sheffield and ground in Hamburg. As printed on the reverse tang, this particular razor was made in England and ground in Hamburg, Germany. Kropp made razors of the highest quality and today are still well known, respected and sought after for their high quality and great shaving ability. This blade is 6/8 wide, is made of carbon steel, with a hollow grind, and has highly polished, mirror finished blade faces. It opens and closes snug and smooth on the pivot pin and is well centered between the scales. This blade carries brand new Black celluloid replacement scales. It also comes with it's original box that is in label scuffed, but is in solid, sound and in efect free physical condition. Recently honed to provide a smooth, close and comfortable shave, this razor comes guaranteed to be shave ready.
